Where are you located?
First you can try google - Maybe search you’re state, or town + roller derby
You can check out the WFTDA list of leagues (Not every league is here, just the leagues that are a part of the WFTDA)
Also here’s a nice list found on Wikipedia - Here
(This has a lot more leagues, in other countries as well)
Hihi, I went to a bout last Sunday and absolutely LOVED it. So I'm trying out for derby in about a week and I was wondering if you had any advice for someone who is new?
Skate skate skate - Start getting comfortable on those skates.
Errr .. Start building you’re endurance.
Go into tryouts with a kick ass amazing attitude - You don’t have to be the best skater, as long as you go in with an attitude that says you want to be there & you want to learn as much ass possible & that you won’t give up .. I’m sure you’ll be great!
Anyone with much more advice, that would help!
(remember to check the notes, as there will probably be more helpful advice in the notes!)
